When the Programme Starts

Laboratoria Chile runs several training cohorts each year. Application windows typically open a few months before each new cohort begins, giving applicants multiple opportunities to apply throughout the year. Each intake follows a structured schedule to ensure consistent, hands-on learning.

Who the Programme Is For

The programme is designed specifically for:

• Women aged 18 and older
• Individuals from underserved or low-income backgrounds
• Beginners with little or no coding experience
• Women looking for a new career direction or a path into the tech industry

Laboratoria’s mission is to help women gain access to meaningful careers through digital skills.

What the Programme Covers

The Laboratoria Chile campus offers two main learning tracks:

Web Development – JavaScript, front-end development, frameworks, Git, and real project work
UX Design – Research, prototyping, user testing and real-world design projects

Both tracks include soft skills, teamwork, communication training and career support. Learners graduate with a portfolio and job search skills.

How Much the Programme Covers

Training at Laboratoria is tuition-free during the programme, allowing women to study without financial barriers.
Depending on the country model, some graduates contribute a small income-based payment only after securing employment, but the training itself does not require upfront tuition.

How to Apply

To apply to Laboratoria Chile:

  1. Visit the Laboratoria website and select Chile as your location.
  2. Complete the online application and initial questionnaire.
  3. Take part in the selection activities, which may include logic assessments and collaborative exercises.
